2. The great thing about hand quilting is that unlike machine quilting, you do NOT have to do continuous line designs. You can start and stop a pattern easily and neatly. If you prefer continuous line, however, check out the links below. Quiltmaker magazine has quilting motifs in all of the magazines. They also have free motifs at their website. They used to have a bunch out there - now it looks like they're selling a book with all of the motifs, and have taken them off the website. They are posting one free motif every week.
