How do you make a quilt?

I want to make and EASY/FAST quilt where i can use those iron pictures.

  1. Iron the pictures onto large squares of 100% cotton fabric. Sew the squares together into a rectangle and press well. This is the quilt top. Cut another piece of cotton to be exactly 2" larger than the quilt top you have made. Place a layer of batting between the two layers and baste or safety pin the three layers together to make a quilt sandwich. At every corner where the squares come together, tie the layers together by pushing a needle threaded with several strands of embroidery floss down, hten back up, and tying the ends together. Trim the batting and backing to be even with the quilt top. Sew a binding around the outside and voila! you have a quilt.
