1. There is a website called freepatterns.com they might have some nice ones or you can do like I do and just type Free Quilt Patterns into your browser and see what comes up. Good Luck!
2. When you go the fabric store they have project sheets hanging up they are free usually for a lap quilt but you can increase the size and end up with beautiful quilts. You can also make your own pattern. Just cut your pieces and add 1/4 inch to all sides.
